Let Faith Arise

A Story of Faith, Fear, and Miracles

Year 2020 — the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Enhanced Community Quarantine was in place, and the world felt uncertain.

On May 5, 2020, our daughter was born—and from that moment, our lives changed forever. She came into this world with her lower extremities not fully developed. Days passed before I was allowed to see her. At first, the doctors gave us a devastating diagnosis: a terminal condition. We were told it might be the first and last time we could hold her. We were shattered.

Alone in the hospital, with no visitors allowed, we held on to one thing—our faith in God.

Holding On in the Darkest Moment

When I finally held my daughter in the NICU, my heart overflowed with both gratitude and grief. Even in pain, even in fear, I clung to God. I cried out, “Why my child?” But in the same breath, I chose to trust Him.

When the Diagnosis Changed

Then something unexpected happened. The diagnosis changed. It was no longer the terminal illness we feared. Instead, it was a rare condition—one we could face with hope. God was, and still is, with us.

Doctors told us she would never walk, that she would be wheelchair-bound for life. But through every hospital visit and every challenge, God sustained us.

Faith Through Every Season

Years passed, and it was time for school. We were afraid and unsure—but God led us to the right place: CCII. There, our daughter began to thrive. She grew socially, academically, and beautifully.

Today, she has graduated from Kindergarten—a milestone we once feared she might never reach.

A Living Testimony

Looking back, we see nothing but God’s faithfulness. Even her name—Liana Faith—was no accident. Her life is a testimony that when we trust God, even in the hardest moments, miracles unfold. And we continue to believe that one day, she will walk. Because with God, nothing is impossible.
