Exactly 17 years ago, a small group of ordinary young people gathered and started JAM Interactive, the youth arm of God of Glory Christian Fellowship (GGCF).
JAM, which stands for Jesus And Me, was built on a simple yet life-changing truth: that a personal relationship with Jesus is the foundation of a transformed life. What began as a small gathering of young people pursuing Jesus together would eventually become a movement that would impact generations.
Looking back, I can see that this was about more than building a youth ministry. It was about passing faith to the next generation—planting seeds in young hearts that God would continue to grow for years to come.
It was a literal ground-zero season for GGCF, but God, in His sovereignty, gave these young people the wisdom, strength, and grace to respond to His calling upon their lives. To them, it was just an ordinary afternoon—no jobs, no funds, no grand plans—just hearts on fire for Jesus. It was a step of faith.
It Started With a Simple Act of Obedience
By faith, they embraced the divine assignment God had entrusted to them, not knowing that their simple act of obedience would influence not only their own generation but generations to come. It was never merely a human endeavor; it was God who orchestrated every step of the journey. I’ve seen this same truth in the seeds planted through Christian discipleship—what seems small today can multiply in ways we may not see for years.
Passing Faith to the Next Generation
This reminds me that we may not always see immediately what God will do with our obedience. A prayer prayed with a young person, a Bible study faithfully led, an encouraging word, or simply showing up week after week may seem small at the time. But in God’s hands, those seeds can bear fruit long after we have planted them.
Passing faith to the next generation doesn’t always begin with something grand. Sometimes it begins with ordinary people simply saying yes to God.
And now, who would have thought that 17 years later, JAM Interactive would still be standing strong, continuing to lead young people into a deeper relationship with Jesus and impacting a new generation?
The pioneers, now known as JAM Adults, are still passionately serving the Lord alongside their children and families, both locally and abroad. They have stepped into their Kingdom assignments and are now helping lead the next generation closer to Christ.
From One Generation to Another
Today, generations of JAMmers continue to burn brightly for the Lord—JAM Kids, JAM Intermediate, JAM Juniors, New Gen, Young Pros, and JAM Adults. What a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness from one generation to the next.
My heart overflows with gratitude for being part of this family. I do not have enough words to express how thankful I am for His goodness and faithfulness through the years. All glory, honor, and highest adoration belong to Him and to Him alone.
Keep the Fire Burning for Jesus
To all the JAMmers around the globe—ONCE A JAMMER, ALWAYS A JAMMER!
Keep the fire burning for Jesus.
This is the prayer I carry for JAM and for every generation that follows:
Psalm 145:4
“One generation commends Your works to another; they tell of Your mighty acts.”
