What If There Was an Insurance That Covered Everything?

insurance policy

Last night, during our Friday Prayer Meeting, a simple phrase suddenly flashed across my mind like one of those online shopping notifications:

“AVAIL NOW!”

The more I thought about it, the more one picture became clear.

Most of us understand what insurance is. We insure our health, our cars, our homes, or even our lives. We don’t buy insurance because we expect something bad to happen. We buy it because life is unpredictable, and it’s wise to be prepared.

Insurance gives us some peace of mind. It helps carry the financial burden when unexpected things happen.

But what if I told you there’s something even better?

Not an insurance policy—but an assurance.

An assurance that covers not only this life but eternity.

Yes, it came at an incredibly high price. A price none of us could ever afford.

That price was paid by Jesus Christ.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

Jesus gave His life so that we could truly live.

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10

The difference between insurance and assurance is simple.

Insurance is something we pay for, hoping we’ll never have to use it.

Assurance is something Jesus already paid for, and we can confidently live in every single day.

Because of His sacrifice, we have access to God’s peace, hope, forgiveness, strength, provision, healing, protection, and most importantly, eternal life.

The invitation is already there.

All we have to do is receive it by faith.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9

Maybe you’ve already accepted Jesus into your life.

If so, here’s a gentle reminder.

Sometimes we’re like people who have excellent insurance coverage but never use the benefits available to them.

We forget that God has already given us peace for our anxious minds.

Hope for our difficult seasons.

Strength for our weaknesses.

Wisdom for our decisions.

Healing for our brokenness.

Protection for our journey.

Provision for our needs.

We continue carrying burdens that Jesus already carried for us.

Friend, God has you covered.

That doesn’t mean life will always be easy. Challenges will still come. But you don’t have to face them alone. Your Heavenly Father walks with you through every season.

When anxiety comes, remember His peace is available.

When fear comes, remember His presence is available.

When you don’t know what tomorrow holds, remember that God already does.

His grace is enough for today, and He’ll still be faithful tomorrow.

So…

Avail now.

Pray.

Trust Him.

Receive what He has already freely given.

Don’t be afraid to ask your Heavenly Father for the promises He has already made available through Jesus.

If you’ve never made the decision to follow Jesus, today can be that day.

You can simply pray from your heart:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I need You. Thank You for loving me and giving Your life for me. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. Today, I put my trust in You. Please forgive me, make me new, and lead me from this day forward. I receive Your gift of eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed that sincerely, welcome to the greatest gift you’ll ever receive.

Life with Jesus isn’t about having a problem-free life. It’s about never facing life alone.

While writing this, my fingers could barely keep up with what was filling my heart. I pray these words encourage you as much as they encouraged me.

God has you covered.

Heaven isn’t withholding God’s promises from you.

They’re already available through Jesus.

Don’t leave what Christ paid for sitting on the shelf.

Receive it. Believe it. Walk in it.

Avail now.
